Luciferins: Graphics v1

After taking a break from programming the graphical animations, I came back to it and took a deeper look at the code. It was processor heavy, without much to demonstrate the need for it. I tore it apart and stripped it down. Waaaaay down. Simplify.

After getting a solid visual, I really wanted to play with the timing and appearance of the graphics. I imagine pockets of Dinoflagellates swimming in the ocean. Some areas are more dense. Some areas last longer than others. I’m liking this direction. It shimmers and is much more organic and natural.

I’ll definitely keep iterating the graphics. But next, I’m going to fire this up with the Kinect. Stay tuned.
